Passionate Lives is excited to announce we are the Station Sponsor of the new community based radio station, Inspire Radio Online. Inspire Radio is a registered Not for Profit organisation that aims to promote positive Health and Wellbeing. We will be interviewing local agencies about what they offer and how they can help our listeners, and aiming to become a conduit between the agencies and the community.

We will also be showcasing local musicians in our live music segments from 6pm – 9pm, inviting budding musicians to perform live either at our studio or at some of the live events we will be hosting in and around the Rockingham area.

We have purposefully designed the station to be an open platform for a variety of ideas and opinions with the one proviso being that everyone must respect each other and the diversity of our listener base. We aim to be a safe space that all people can feel comfortable and welcome as part of the Inspire Family Network.

Over the last few months we have been interviewing many budding presenters and finally putting the finishing touches to our schedule. It’s an exciting time to be starting up a new online radio station and forging some exciting partnerships. Being involved in something from the ground up like this, allows us some freedoms to be innovative and experimental and we welcome applications from anyone who would like to be part of this adventure.  We are particularly keen to hear from people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people with a Disability, lived experience of Mental Illness or other illness and members of the LGBTI+ community. There are still slots for budding presenters as well as the all important behind the scenes roles such as researching guests, social media and marketing and general admin duties. We are also excited to announce we can take prac placements from RTO’s and Universities and welcome the opportunity to help train up volunteers and students alike.
